Co-director
Angelo Piccigallo co-founded COVO in 1996 and since 1999 has managed and co-directed the organisation. Previously Angelo was a choreographer and performer at a London-based dance theatre company bringing physical theatre to young people and children.
Angelo completed anĀ Education and Community courseĀ at the University of East London, and he went on to study for an MA in Systemic Approach to Coaching Management and Consultation at Birkbeck College, University of London.
Angelo has over 15 years’ experience of working across the voluntary and statutory sector with a particular focus on developing programmes for young people with emotional and behaviour disorders and for people with learning difficulties.
Angelo’s true passion is enabling and this has manifested itself through his work with all groups: young people, families and management teams. He tutors community and youth work students at Goldsmith’s, University of London, and lectures on Empowerment and Identity.
